논문제출자격 종합시험 안내

2023학년도 1학기 논문제출자격 종합시험을 아래와 같이 실시합니다.

※ ‘논문제출자격 어학 종합시험 (한국어/영어)는 온라인 테스트로 진행합니다.

(전공시험은 학과별 자율 방식으로 진행)

※ 온라인 테스트 방법은 첨부파일 참고

※ 전공시험 신청 시 응시과목과 교수명을 정확히 신청(각각 직접 조회 후 입력)

(본인이 이미 이수한 과목명과 담당 교수명을 입력, 시험과목 관련은 학과에 문의)

※ 해당 기간에만 신청 가능

<온라인 시험 유의사항>

1. 시험 응시는 포탈 및 E-class 환경에서 진행될 예정입니다. 포탈 ID/ 비밀번호를 사전에 확인하시기 바랍니다.

2. 권장 브라우저 : Chrome, Edge 브라우저(Mac Safari 10/11 버전으로도 이용 가능합니다. 사전에 브라우저를 통해 E-class 작동을 확인해주시기 바랍니다.)

3. 온라인 TEST는 인터넷과 시스템이 안정된 곳에서 응시하셔야 하며 시스템 오류 또는 시스템 다운 증상에 대해서는 응시자 본인에게 책임이 있습니다.

4. 제출 버튼 입력 이후 당일 TEST 재응시 불가

(불합격 시 다음 학기에 재응시는 가능, 시간 내에 제출하는 경우 재응시 불가)

5. 시험 시작 전 공지사항 및 유의사항 반드시 숙지 바랍니다.

6. 시험 시작 10분 전 미리 접속해주시기 바랍니다. (시험 시작시각과 동시에 시험이 오픈되며 종료시각에는 시험이 강제 종료됩니다.)

7. 태블릿 사용은 가능하나 네트워크 및 기기 불안정으로 이용이 어려울 수 있습니다. 접속이 어려운 경우 다른 브라우저를 이용해보시기 바랍니다.

◎ 응시대상

- 어학시험 : 1차 이상

- 전공시험 : 3차 이상 필수

※ 학,석사연계과정은 2차부터 가능

※ 석박통합과정은 5차부터 가능

- 한국어시험 : 인문사회 및 예술계열 외국인 학생만 응시

※ 단 한국어능력시험 4급 이상 합격자는 성적표와 대체인정서 대학원교육지원팀에

제출할 경우 면제

◎ 시험과목

- 어학시험 : 영어(석,박사 공통), 한국어(인문사회 및 예술계열 외국인학생)

- 전공시험 : 석사과정 3과목(필수과목 2개 포함)

박사과정 4과목(필수과목 2개 포함)

(이수 완료한 과목만 응시 가능)

◎ 시험방법 (영어, 한국어) : 첨부파일 참고

(전공시험의 경우 학과별 진행 및 안내)

◎ 어학시험결과 확인 : 2023. 4. 3.(월) 이후 예정(발표 시 공지예정)

- 중앙대포탈시스템 강의마당/성적/졸업관련성적조회에서 확인

(어학시험 및 전공시험 합격 발표 이전에 학위논문제출 승인서를 제출하는 경우 불합격으로 표시되나, 2023-1학기 시험에 합격한다면 졸업 처리에 문제없습니다.)

◎ 전공시험결과 확인 : 각 학과 시험 종료 후 4월 말 ~ 5월 예정

- 중앙대포탈시스템 강의마당/성적/졸업관련성적조회에서 확인

(어학시험 및 전공시험 합격 발표 이전에 학위논문제출 승인서를 제출하는 경우 불합격으로 표시되나, 2023-1학기 시험에 합격한다면 졸업 처리에 문제없습니다.)

◎ 어학시험 대체 방법

1. 논문제출자격 어학시험대체 계절학기 영어강좌를 수강.

※ 계절학기 어학강좌 수강자격은 어학시험 응시자에 한함

(학기 중 강좌개설 공지 예정)

2. 어학 성적으로 대체 : 토익 780점, 토플(IBT 91점), 텝스 363점, IELTS 6.0,

G-TELP(Level2) 75, TOEIC SPEAKING 140, OPIC IM3 이상, TOPIK 4급, KLPT 350 이상

(단, 제출일 당시 성적표상의 유효한 성적에 한함)

3. 대학원 홈페이지 각종서식에서 어학시험대체인정서를 출력, 작성 후 성적표 원본을

첨부하여 학과를 경유, 학과장 날인 후 대학원교육지원팀에 접수.

◎ 합격 기준

1. 영어 : 계열별 과정별 상위 70% 내외

(단, 상대평가와 관계없이 60점 이상인 경우 합격 처리)

2. 한국어 : 100점 만점에 60점 이상 합격

3. 전공시험 : 100점 만점에 80점 이상 합격

A Guideline to the Thesis Qualification Test

※ Language test (Korean/English) is conducted as an online test.

(The Major test will be conducted autonomously by each department.)

※ Please see the attachments for the details.

※ When you apply for the major test, please select the subject and professor’s name exactly.

(Please write the exact name of the subject you already completed, and also the name of the professor in charge. Please ask the department for the details.)

※ Applicable for the above period only.

<Caution>

1. This semester's language test will be conducted on the online TEST. Therefore, if you do not apply within the application period, you cannot apply for the test. Please make sure you apply within the period.

2. The test will be conducted in a portal and e-class environment. Please check your portal ID/ password in advance.

3. Recommended browser: Chrome, Edge browser (also available in Internet Explorer 11, Mac Safari 10/11 version)

4. Online TEST should be taken where the Internet and system are stable. Regarding system error or system-down symptoms, the candidate has all responsibility.

5. Unable to retake the TEST on the day after entering the submit button

(If you fail, you can retake it next semester, but if you submit it within the time limit, you cannot retake the test.)

6. Make sure to read the notices and precautions before starting the test.

◎ Qualified targets for the test

- Language Test : students over 1 semester

- Major Test : students over 3 semesters must take it

※ The Bachelor-Master joint degree courses are available from the second semester.

※ The Master-Doctor joint degree courses are available from the fifth semester.

- Korean Test : Only foreign students in the humanities and the arts are qualified.

※ However, those, who passed the Korean Language Proficiency Test Level 4 or higher and submitted their report card and an alternative certification to the graduate support department, can be exempted from the test.

◎ Test Subject

- Language Test : English(Master · Doctor), Korean(Foreign Students in humanities and arts)

- Major Test : Master degree courses 3 subjects (including 2 required subjects)

Doctor degree courses 4 subjects (including 2 required subjects)

(You Only completed subjects can be taken)

◎ Test Guideline (English, Korean) : Please see the attached file for the online test guideline.

(In case of a major test, there will be individual progress and instructions from the department)

◎ Verifying language test results : scheduled after 3nd (Mon) Apr 2023

(will be notified when the announcement has been made)

- You can check your result on the CAU portal system Lecture/Grade/Grade check for graduation

(If you submit a certificate for a thesis paper before passing the language test and major exam or if you pass the 2023-1 semester exam, there is no problem in the graduation process.)

◎ Verifying the results of major exam : scheduled in end of Apr ~ May after every test finished

- You can check your result on the CAU portal system Lecture/Grade/Grade check for graduation

(If you submit a certificate for a thesis paper before passing the language test and major exam or if you pass the 2023-1 semester exam, there is no problem in the graduation process.)

◎ Alternative methods for language tests

1. Taking English classes that can be alternated for thesis qualification test in the summer session.

※ Qualification for language class in the summer session is limited to language test-takers.

2. Submit language report card : Over TOEIC 780, TOEFL(IBT 91), TEPS 363, IELTS 6.0, G-TELP(Level 2) 75, TOEIC SPEAKING 140, OPIC IM3, TOPIK Level 4, KLPT 350 (limited to the only valid report card at the time of submission.)

3. Print out language test replacement certificates in various forms on the graduate school website -> Passing through the department with attached original report card -> Get a signature or stamp of the dean and submit it to the graduate support department.

◎ Criteria of acceptance

1. English : Within the Top 70 percent of courses by series (However, regardless of relative evaluation, if your grade is 60 points or higher, you can pass the test)

2. Korean : Over 60 out of 100

3. Major Test : Over 80 out of 100
