Program Overview
Chung-Ang University has approximately 700 partner universities worldwide and offers a wide range of student exchange programs on a semester or academic-year basis. The Exchange/Visiting Student Program is a non-degree program, and credits earned at Chung-Ang University may be transferred to students’ home institutions, subject to their home universities’ credit recognition policies.
Exchange/Visiting students can participate in the following regular academic programs:
- 1,000+ courses offered in English
- Available Colleges: Humanities, Social Sciences, Education, Natural Sciences, Biotechnology and Natural Resources, Engineering, ICT Engineering, Software, Business and Economics, Arts, Sport Sciences, Art & Technology, Global MBA, Graduate School of International Studies
- Graduate-level programs are available only under specific partnership agreements and require prior approval from a supervising professor at Chung-Ang University.
- Special courses on Korean studies taught in English are offered to exchange students, including Korean language courses at all levels, as well as courses on Korean culture, arts, and society.
Exchange Student Program
Students may study at Chung-Ang University for one semester or one academic year under tuition-waived conditions. Students must first be nominated through their home university’s International Office to participate in the Exchange Student program. The number of exchange students accepted is determined in accordance with existing partnership agreements.
Visiting Student Program
Students may study at Chung-Ang University for one semester or one academic year under tuition paying conditions. Students must first be nominated through their home university’s International Office to participate in the Visiting Student program. The number of exchange students accepted is determined in accordance with existing partnership agreements.
Academic Calendar
Study Period
- Spring semester: early March to mid-June
- Fall semester: early September to mid-December
Nomination/Application
- Spring semester: Nomination in October / Application in November
- Fall semester: Nomination in March / Application in April
