THESIS SUBMISSION PROCEDURES AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Thesis Submission Procedure
CAU Portal
- School Affairs Information(학사마당)
- Application/Inquiry Graduation approval application
-Thesis submitting acknowledgement
-Research ethics pledge
-Research achievement certificate Print out and seal from the head of department/thesis advisor
Apply to the administrative office of the Graduate School Qualification examination Selection of examiners and checking examination schedule
Thesis examination (individually) Submit the thesis review report to the administrative office of the Graduate School -Submit 4 copies(including a copy with examiner’s signature)
-Submit with the thesis uploading confirmation note

2. Qualification and Documents for Thesis Submission
| Qualification |
-Students who passed the qualification examination(foreign language and major)
-Students who took the special lecture on research ethics and thesis writing -Students who completed or are expected to complete the Master’s or Doctoral degree program. -Students who fulfilled the qualifications to submit a thesis required by each department received approval from the department(need confirmation from department) -Students majoring in humanities and arts need at least one thesis registered at domestic or foreign academic journals(listed/ listed candidates) as a main author. -Students majoring in natural sciences or engineering need at least one thesis registered at JCR or higher level of academic journal(except SCOPUS) as a main author. ※Essential for doctoral degree(Master's degree is subject to achievement submission-scholarship recipient) ※The main author of the thesis refers to the first author, corresponding author or the first author among authors excluding the professor in the thesis. |

-Students who published at least one thesis registered at domestic or foreign academic journals(listed/ listed candidates) as a main author.
-Students majoring in natural sciences or engineering need at least one thesis registered at JCR or higher level of academic journal(except SCOPUS) as a main author. ※ This apply to the students who enter CAU GS since 2010 |
